Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has been prioritizing the development of the CBD Punjab Boulevard and Underpass project. With the directives of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, the project is being fast-tracked to provide maximum relief to the general public in their daily commute.

Mr. Imran Amin, CEO of CBD Punjab, visited the CBD Punjab Boulevard and Underpass site to review the progress of the project. During his visit, he lauded the efforts of the CBD Punjab team and contractor National Logistic Cell (NLC), for making the main underpass and adjoining roads functional for traffic.

The construction of Ali Zaib Road barrel raft concrete pouring is currently in progress and will be completed soon. The Ali Zaib Road barrel will be a gift for the general public. To combat environmental hazards, CBD Punjab is also planting 10,000 plants in the vicinity of the project which will have a clean and green impact on the project.

While expressing his views CEO of CBD Punjab, Mr. Imran Amin, said, “Our utmost priority, as per the directive of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, is to provide maximum relief to the general public in their daily commute. I am pleased to report that the CBD Punjab Boulevard and Underpass project is 90% complete, and we have opened all the adjoining roads for traffic. Just like PSL 8, CBD Punjab has taken all the important measures for smooth traffic flow during the Pakistan Vs New Zealand T20 series.”

Several high-ranking officials of CBD Punjab, including Executive Director Commercial Mr. Mohammad Omer, Executive Director Technical Mr. Riaz Hussain, Director Project Management Mr. Asif Iqbal, and senior officials of CBD Punjab and NLC were also present during the visit.

The CBD Punjab Boulevard and Underpass project will be a significant development in the province of Punjab. It will provide much-needed relief to daily commuters by easing traffic congestion and improving travel times. The project will also benefit the environment by planting thousands of trees in the vicinity, making it a sustainable initiative.
