Ufone has launched its mobile banking service ‘UPayment’ for Askari Bank Limited. UPayments allows Ufone customers to conveniently make secure transactions directly via Ufone connection without using internet.
Before this Ufone is offering this service for HBL, Summit Bank, Soneri Bank, Bank AL Habib and Apna Bank.
UPayments allows Ufone customers to conveniently make secure transactions directly via Ufone connection without using internet.
Following services are offered via UPayments:
- Transfer Funds to any other Bank account within your bank
- Inter Bank Funds Transfer (IBFT) to 27 1LINK member banks
- Pay your Utility bills
- Make Utility bill enquiries
- ULoad any Ufone number
- Pay your Ufone Postpay bill
- Other Telco Topup (Prepaid & Postpaid Bill Payment)
- Check your bank account balance
- View a mini bank statement

Registration Process:
- Dial *808# and select your Bank
- Register yourself with your CNIC
- You will receive a registration confirmation SMS on successful registration
Activation Process:
Once registered, call your Bank’s Call center for verification and Mobile Banking activation. Following are the helplines of respective bank:

You will receive an account activation confirmation SMS on successful activation
Charges:
- For HBL, Summit Bank and Bank AL Habib: Rs. 5 + tax will be charged on the payment of every utility bill. (This charge will be deducted from customer’s airtime. The bill amount will be deducted from customer’s bank account)
- For Summit Bank and Bank AL Habib: Rs. 5+tax will be charged from customers airtime on every Funds Transfer transaction. Rs. 5 + Tax will be charged for every “Other Telco” Topup transaction.
- For Askari Bank and Apna Bank: Inter Bank Fund Transfer will be charged as follows.
i) Rs. 15 for Current Account Holders + 16% FED
ii) Rs. 100/- per transfer for profit bearing Account Holders + 16% FED
Terms & Conditions:
- In Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit/Baltistan and FATA an additional 0.84% will be charged on all services and packages.
- 19.5% FED on usage and other taxes on bill/recharge apply.
- In Islamabad, AJK, Gilgit/Baltistan and FATA 18.5% FED and other taxes on bill/recharge will apply.
- Your SIM is your identity, only use SIMs issued through Biometric Verification – PTA
